The course evaluation will be consistent with ÌÇÐÄvlog´«Ã½evaluation policy. An evaluation schedule is presented at the beginning of the course.

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:
- Describe the components of the basic audiometric test battery
- Identify when to apply the use of masking for audiometry
- Demonstrate ability to perform masking during audiometry
- Produce accurate routine speech testing results; e.g., most comfortable loudness (MCL), speech-reception threshold (SRT), speech-discrimination (SD), and uncomfortable loudness (UCL)
- Interpret routine speech testing results
- Produce accurate advanced speech testing results; e.g., speech-in-noise (SIN) test or acceptable noise level (ANL) test
- Interpret advanced speech testing results
- Perform accurate tympanometry and ipsilateral and contralateral acoustic reflex test results
- Interpret obtained tympanometry measures and ipsilateral & contralateral acoustic reflex patterns
- Modify hearing tests according to the needs of individual clients
- Implement strategies of testing for suspected pseudohypacusis
- Synthesize findings of advanced audiometric procedures with likely sites of pathology
